It means “I have heard the order I understand it I will carry it out.”īARNACLE – a small marine animal that attaches itself to hulls and pilings.īELAY – to cancel an order stop firmly secure a line.īERTH – space assigned ship for anchoring or mooring.īERTHING – where Sailors sleep onboard ship.īILLET – an allotted sleeping space an individual’s position in the ship’s organization.īLACK SHOE – an officer who is not an aviator the latter is a brown shoe.
